17-Year-Old Nigerian Student Crowned World's Best in English at 2025 TeenEagle Global Finals



In a remarkable achievement that has brought pride to Nigeria, 17-year-old Nafisa Abdullah Aminu from Yobe State has been named the world's best in English language skills at the 2025 TeenEagle Global Finals held in London, United Kingdom.

Representing Nigeria through the Nigerian Tulip International College (NTIC) in Yobe, Nafisa outperformed over 20,000 participants from 69 countries, including native English-speaking nations such as the United States, the United Kingdom, and Australia. 


The TeenEagle Global Finals is renowned as one of the most rigorous international competitions assessing communication, critical thinking, and English language proficiency among teenagers. Nafisa's exceptional performance not only earned her the top global position but also highlighted the academic excellence present in Nigeria's educational institutions.
