Afrobeats sensation Tiwa Savage has made a deeply personal revelation, admitting that she’s never truly experienced love in a romantic relationship.
In a candid chat with British media personality Zeze Millz, the 44-year-old singer reflected on her love life and past relationships — including her marriage — saying they were driven more by infatuation than genuine love.
“Looking back at all my relationships, I don’t think I’ve experienced true love,” Tiwa said. “At the time I thought I was in love, but now I realise it wasn’t. I was just infatuated. Even when I was married — that wasn’t true love.”
She emphasized that the only real love she’s ever felt is the one she has for her son, Jamil. Beyond that, she admitted she’s still searching.
